Butterball Farms, Inc., Pilots Professional Coaching Program for
Mid-Level Managers and Line Operators
Grand Rapids, MI: Butterball Farms, Inc., will launch a professional
coaching and development program to assist employees in life and work skills based on the proven approaches of Dr. Phil McGraw, the noted psychologist, renowned author and TV personality.
The program is coordinated and run by ProfessionalCEU.com, a Florida based online training company specializing in behavioral health education. Professional CEU is the exclusive provider of training in the approaches to life change that have been popularized by Dr. Phil McGraw. Ten Butterball Farms, Inc., employees will begin the consulting on December 1 and complete the four-month program in March, 2005.

In the new program, life strategy coaches who have been trained in Dr. Phil’s approaches will regularly meet in confidential, one-on-one telephone sessions with participating Butterball Farms’ employees. Coaching topics will include personal self-assessment, relationships, communications, goal setting and success strategies.
Professional CEU president, Peter Begalla calls the employee coaching program “a unique and creative move that impacts companies at several levels.” “There is a growing body of research that indicates that professional coaching aids in training retention, job satisfaction and career growth,” he said. “In this pilot project, we plan to demonstrate that coaching at the employee level will boost productivity, retention and morale and is "The" next step in human resources and benefit packaging.”
Life strategist coaches leading the pilot program are successful
professional life coaches who have received additional training in a
specialty called The Dr. Lawlis Series on Dr. Phil’s Approaches. The
training curriculum has been authored by G. Frank Lawlis, PhD – the noted psychologist who is the chief content advisor to the Dr. Phil show and a longtime friend and mentor to Phil McGraw.
